Emma is an experienced employment lawyer acting for a range of clients including public sector, manufacturing and engineering, care providers, and insolvency practitioners.
Emma has particular expertise in employee relations matters and regularly advises clients on restructures, redundancies, TUPE, capability and disciplinary matters. In addition to this, she assists clients in defending employment tribunal claims that are complex in nature, often involving issues such as breach of contract, unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE and whistleblowing. She has also had particular exposure to the defence and resolution of equal pay claims.
Emma provides training on various topics of employment law to managers and HR professionals and regularly provides advice in relation to settlement agreements. She has a commercial and common-sense approach to resolving client issues and clients appreciate her practical and supportive approach to matters.
