Nick Burrows is a partner in the Corporate & Commercial department and head of the Charity & Education team at Blandy & Blandy LLP.

Nick advises charities and education providers on a broad range of commercial matters, while also advising professional practices and businesses of all shapes and sizes on areas including formation and incorporation, governance, mergers, collabarations and joint ventures, contracts and agreements, procurement, outsourcing and intellectual property.


Became a partner at Blandy & Blandy in 2002, having spent time at several leading regional firms.

Blandy & Blandy LLP gives ‘excellent advice at a fair cost’ to owner-managed businesses, investors and financiers on deals with values up to £25m. Corporate practitioner David Few heads the practice and advised Lloyds Bank in connection with the financing of the acquisition of Witney Lakes Resort, Spa and Golf Club by The Club Company. Few also assisted Search Technologies with the due diligence exercise undertaken on the UK subsidiary in the course of the acquisition of Search Technologies and its global subsidiaries by Accenture. IP practice head Debbie Brett and Nick Burrows, who leads the charity and education team, are the primary contacts for commercial work. Perfetti Van Melle and Launch Diagnostics are also clients.

Other clients include the University of Reading, for which the practice provides ongoing advice on documentation - including easements, deeds of release of security, variation to overage deeds and original sale contracts - in relation to previously completed land transactions that will lead to the delivery of approximately 2,000 new homes south of Reading. Charities specialist Nick Burrows is noted for his 'sage advice'.
