Position

Nick leads the banking team at Lawrence Graham LLP advising banks and financial institutions on all types of property secured lending transactions, with particular emphasis on investment property, development finance, retail/shopping centres and hotels. In the last two years, Nick s emphasis has shifted to restructuring real estate law, distressed assets and distressed debt. The team has been very successful in these areas, resulting in a strong in-flow of new clients and business.

Nick Turner – Gowling WLG

Gowling WLG handles ‘complex and structured property investment and development transactions’ for clearing banks, debt funds and alternative lenders, overseas banks and borrower funds. In particular, the group has been active in development finance mandates in the private rented sector, build to rent, student accommodation, data centres, mixed residential use, and hotels. Nick Turner heads up the practice, acting for some of the group’s major debt funds and mezzanine lenders. Jon Lent joined Squire Patton Boggs  in June 2021.
