Career

Alasdair McKenzie has broad experience, having advised a range of private and listed corporates, private equity funds and financial institutions on a variety of domestic and international debt products including bilateral and syndicated facilities, leveraged and acquisition finance, unitranche structures, early stage debt (especially in FinTech) and commercial real estate loans. This breadth of experience affords him the ability to understand how to cut through complex issues and focus on the key drivers behind a transaction.

Alasdair is an active member of the firm’s Tech sector group, working with start-ups (and their investors / angels) right through to more established and well known TMT focused corporates, with particular expertise in P2P, cyber security, media and FinTech.

Stemming from time spent living abroad, travels and an interest in global commerce, Alasdair also supports the firm’s advisory offering in EMEA, in particular advising sponsors, financiers and corporates on general lending, trade finance, credit enhancement, acquisition finance and project specific mandates.

Above all Alasdair prides himself on being an outgoing and engaging individual, with a strong work ethic but also a keen sense of humour.
