On the scheme advisory front, the group is experienced in advising on ESG issues, GMP equalisations and the spectrum of transactions. For employers, the group handles liability management mandates, as well as contribution notice requirements. It also has several public sector pensions mandates, and area where Paul Carberry is noted. Pensions risk transfers are led on by Paul Feathers with the support of legal director Sara Chambers. Jason Coates heads the overall pensions group and has developed a specialism in pensions-related ESG. Also recommended is legal director Maddy Frost, who is adept at advising trustee-side clients.
