Hugh advises employees and employers at all stages of the employment relationship, from recruitment to termination (and, where there are post-termination restrictions, beyond).

Hugh’s practice includes both contentious matters (including grievance, disciplinary and dismissal processes, and the full range of employment disputes) and non-contentious. He regularly advises on complex contracts and renumeration packages, as well as severances.

His clients include primarily UK-based individuals, medium-sized companies and charities (with particular experience in dealing with employment issues in the health and social care sector).
