Position

Robert Swift is a consultant in our Farms & Estates team, and for twenty five years has specialised in helping clients to buy and sell farms and estates throughout the South of England. Robert acts for many buyers purchasing "off market" and city institutions, trust companies, charities, farmers and new entrants to farm and estate ownership are amongst his clients. He acts frequently for first time farm or estate buyers, some from overseas as well as for entrepreneurs seeking to acquire a piece of England to enjoy as a home, or to diversify their investment portfolio.

Career

Robert is a graduate of Bristol University. He became a partner at Wilsons in 1994.

Highly regarded for its private client work, Wilsons is often engaged by private landowners in development site transactions, and also advises corporates, charities and property investors in commercial letting and transactional property matters. ‘An experienced and incisive property expert’, Jane Lonergan advised Saba Software on a commercial lease agreement for its office space in the south of England. Lonegran also provides ongoing property advice to charities such as Help for Heroes and Sense.
