Career
Louise is the Head of the Medical Negligence and Personal Injury Team and has worked in this area of law for over 20 years.
As a specialist in medical negligence, Louise has represented many children with birth injury claims, where she has recovered compensation, which will assist them and their families in securing appropriate support, potentially for the rest of their lives.
Louise also has significant experience representing clients at inquests. Families can find having to attend an inquest (following the death of a loved one) an extremely difficult and upsetting procedure: her purpose is to help clients to understand the procedure and alleviate pressure on families.
Member
She is a member of both the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel, the AvMA (Action for Victims of Medical Accidents) Panel and the Society of Clinical Negligence Lawyers. Her membership of the specialist panels recognises her experience and confirms her expertise in representing clients with clinical negligence claims.
Leisure
Louise has lived and worked in Northamptonshire for the majority of her life and is involved in her local community as a governor at a primary school.

Wilson Browne Solicitors fields a particularly strong clinical negligence practice, but also has a strong track record in advising on multi-track personal injury claims. ‘Extremely knowledgeable’ practice head Louise Tyler ‘is at the top of her game’ and especially experienced in birth injury claims and client representation at inquests. Tyler recently advised the widow and executrix of a deceased on a technically complex claim against the employer sub-contractor and a main contractor in relation to the death of her husband in a work accident, including the representation at the subsequent inquest which led to a prosecution by the Health and Safety Executive. Another stand-out instruction saw Tyler act for a client in a potential claim against Warwick Hospital NHS Trust regarding a knee arthroscopy.
