Sarah joined Wilsons in 2008 and qualified as a solicitor in 2011. 

Sarah now practises exclusively in family law and has experience in all areas including divorce and matrimonial finance proceedings, public law care proceedings, residence, contact, injunction proceedings and child abduction.

She has particular expertise in representing parents in care proceedings and enjoys acting for young parents.

Sarah conducts her own advocacy and is able to take clients through a case from start to finish. She has experience of representing clients at all levels of the family court system. She regularly appears at the Edmonton, Central, Barnet, and East London family courts.

Sarah is involved with the Barnet Family Court private law duty scheme and the Central Family Court Citizen Advice scheme and attends both monthly to advise and assist individuals on a pro bono basis.

Sarah provides assistance to the next generation of solicitors as a mentor for Westminster University and the University of Sheffield law students. Sarah was nominated for the University of Sheffield ‘Mentor of the Year’ award in 2015.

On 1st September 2015 Sarah was appointed to serve on the Law Society’s Family Law Committee for a 3 year term.


Sarah is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel.

Sarah is a Member of Resolution.

Sarah is also a Member of the Law Society’s Family Section and Advocacy Section.


Sarah studied law at Sheffield University and gained a distinction on the Legal Practice Course at the University of Westminster.
