Rishi has worked in the criminal defence field since 2008 and has provided clients advice in a wide- range of areas including murder, complex fraud, sexual offences and extradition. He regularly defends clients against a variety of prosecuting agencies including the National Crime Agency, the Department of Business and various requesting counties.
Rishi deals has a diverse client base. He is committed to defending the vulnerable and has a particular forte in representing clients with mental health issues. Due to his empathetic and understanding approach Rishi is frequently instructed by professionals who have had limited experience of the criminal justice system.
Rishi is fluent in Spanish and has working relationships with lawyers in Spain. He has used these features to provide effective representation for clients accused of offences in Spain.
As the Team Leader in charge of our Investigations Department Rishi is responsible for ensuring that ABV continues to react to the challenge posed by the constantly changing nature of police and regulatory investigations.
