Aneeta has practiced Criminal Law for over 20 years and became a Duty Solicitor in 1998, soon after qualification.

She is also a Higher Courts Advocate which entitles her to conduct hearings before the Crown Court.

In 2008, Aneeta was appointed a Peer Reviewer by the Legal Services Commission. This means she is one of a select team of assessors who review the quality of work carried out by other firms of Solicitors.

Aneeta was appointed Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Court) in 2009.

Along with her day to day practice, which involves the full spectrum of general criminal law, Aneeta has represented many clients involved in high profile and complex cases. She has represented clients prosecuted by various authorities such as The Crown Prosecution Service on behalf of Special Casework Unit, The National Crime Squad and Flying Squad, as well as prosecutions initiated by HM Revenue and Customs.

Aneeta has a wealth of experience and has a reputation for fearlessly and passionately representing her client’s best interests. Clients are reassured by Aneeta’s highly professional manner and personal approach.

As the firms Trainee Solicitor Supervisor, Aneeta has prepared articles for the Trainee Solicitors Handbook. She has also been involved in the training of appropriate adults who attend police stations, on behalf of the Youth Justice Service.
