 Formerly a partner of Ford & Warren solicitors, Charles has wide experience in all aspects of litigation including indemnity disputes, fraudulent claims and high value / catastrophic injury claims with a value up to £5 million. Under Blaise Smith he also has experience in the handling of claims of the utmost severity, valuing at £10 million+.
His specialism is in road traffic/motor claims, particularly those involving brain injury and chronic pain/invisible injury. He also has experience in handling high-value EL and PL claims. In addition, he has developed a name for himself in the industry as a specialist in the defence of credit hire claims, and in 2000 was part of the team that took (successfully) leading case Ketley v Gilbert to the Court of Appeal.
