 Sarah is a Partner and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives with over 17 years experience in dealing with healthcare matters, to include advising on and defending clinical negligence cases, as well as catastrophic and sensitive personal injury cases, not just for NHS Resolution but also other private insurers.
 Sarah also has a particular interest in fraud and is the healthcare fraud lead. She advises the national healthcare team on any cases where there is suspected exaggeration or fraud and is involved and instrumental in taking such cases to trial.
 Sarah handles a wide variety of different clinical claims, ranging from injuries of maximum severity right through to those which are more relatively straightforward. She also has a particular interest in group litigation, being involved in a group action of over 138 claimants for maxillofacial injuries. This also includes supporting the clients on a range of legal and regulatory issues as well as media, reputational management, patient safety and learning, disclosure duties and the duty of candour.

 Sarah also acts as a mentor and supervisor to junior members of the team, provides regular training to clients and undertakes secondments.
 Sarah’s breadth of knowledge in respect of both clinical negligence and personal injury has proved invaluable to healthcare clients and she is known for her robust approach, whilst also demonstrating an understanding of the sensitivities of dealing with seriously injured claimants.
