 Clare qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and joined Weightmans in 1999, becoming a partner in 2009. Since qualification Clare’s practice has comprised defendant insurance litigation, encompassing motor, employer and public liability claims for a number of insurance clients.
Clare specialises in catastrophic injury claims including tetraplegic, paraplegic, traumatic brain injury, amputation, complex multiple orthopaedic injury and fatal accident claims.
Clare is a designated Large Loss Partner for AIG Europe Limited. Her caseload includes claims against local authorities and the police, claims arising out of workplace accidents and road traffic accidents.
Clare has presented and written articles, most recently in relation to fatal accident claims, and calculating future loss claims.
