Position

Sally joined Weightmans as a solicitor and a member of the Wills, Trusts and Estates team in May 2018, and is based in our Manchester office. Since joining Weightmans, Sally has been promoted to the position of Associate, Principal Associate and now Legal Director.

Sally is a fully accredited member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), the Law Society Private Client Section and Solicitors for the Elderly and sits on the Manchester Law Society’s Private Client section committee.

Sally qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and joined Weightmans having left her role as Head of the Wills, Trusts and Estates department at her previous firm.

Sally has practised solely in the field of wills, trusts and estates since qualification, and has extensive experience in advising private clients in relation to the preparation of Wills, tax planning, the creation and administration of Trusts, the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney and the administration of estates, both taxable and non-taxable.
