Position
Linzi is an experienced family law Associate and collaborative lawyer who resolves conflict arising from family relationships and helps clients to future proof their wealth.
Linzi advises on all aspects of relationship breakdown including divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships, cohabitation, variation of maintenance cases as well as pre and post nuptial agreements with a particular interest in complex children law proceedings. These include applications relating to whom a child should live with and spend time with, disputes over schooling, relocation applications for permission to move both inside and outside of England and Wales and cases involving domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse.
Linzi adopts a constructive and conciliatory approach to cases, with resolution in mind utilising the most appropriate method for the client, whether that be solicitor assisted mediation, solicitor led negotiation, collaborative practice, arbitration or court proceedings.
As a collaboratively trained practitioner, Linzi can offer clients a ‘better way to divorce’ and resolve the financial aspects of relationship breakdown giving clients a greater degree of control over the process and the ability to focus on specific needs whilst working closely with other lawyers committed to avoiding court proceedings. During the process, Linzi works collaboratively as part of a team with other professionals and with clients to find solutions that work for their family as a whole. Linzi is a member of the Manchester Family Dispute Resolution Group.
