Position

Lorraine specialises in acting for private clients in relation to their estate planning, including the preparation of wills, trusts and lasting powers of attorney. Lorraine has extensive experience in applying for probate and dealing with the administration of estates. She has a particular interest in cross-border matters and is used to working with lawyers in different jurisdictions to meet her client’s objectives and ensure their worldwide affairs are in order.

As part of our trust administration team, Lorraine regularly advises clients on the administration of trusts to ensure that trustees have fulfilled their legal and tax obligations.

As well as dealing with private clients, Lorraine also leads our team of specialists dealing with recovery from estates work on behalf of local authorities.

Lorraine regularly presents estate planning seminars for clients and intermediaries.

Lorraine prides herself on providing excellent client care, ensuring that her clients are always given an efficient and professional service.

Lorraine is a full STEP member, full accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly and a member of the Law Society Private Client Section. Lorraine completed her STEP qualification in 2021 and was awarded two STEP Excellence Awards for the highest scoring graduate across the STEP Diploma in 2021 and the highest score in the 2020 Administration of Trust examination.
