Helen joined Weightmans as HR Director In July 2019 and leads out People , Learning and Development teams .
Helen started her career as a graduate in Insurance with Royal and Sun alliance and having spent time in Claims moved into HR where she developed her HR career through spending time in Reward , Talent acquisition , Learning and Development and Early Careers teams . She is an experienced HR Director, having undertaken this at Royal and Sun Alliance , Next, Coop Financial Services and esure. In her previous role at Esure she was involved in the IPO of the Go Compare business , lead the People workstreams when the Firm was acquire by Bain Capital alongside developing a new Employee Proposition and introducing Leadership and talent development programmes .
Helen is passionate about developing people , high performance teams and creating an inclusive environment for everyone measured through high level of engagement .
Helen is also an accredited coach, member of CIPD and a Council member at the University of Salford where she also chairs the Remuneration Committee .
