Denise Holt
Position
Denise joined Weightmans in 2009 and qualified as a Legal Executive later that year. She went on to qualify as a solicitor in 2016.
Denise works in the casualty department, dealing predominantly with claims against local authorities and schools/academies. She has a local authority background having previously been employed for many years by Liverpool City Council.
Her most notable case thus far is Halton Borough Council v Daniel Eric Condron (2015) in which she brought successful contempt of court proceedings which resulted in a prison sentence for Mr Condron for a false personal injury claim.
