Beth Williams
Position
Beth qualified as a real estate solicitor in October 2015. She joined Weightmans in December 2017 and has significant experience in acting for the social housing sector, having almost exclusively serviced this sector throughout her career to date.
She advises on property acquisitions and disposals, including the acquisition of sites for housing development, together with all ancillary matters such as easements, infrastructure and statutory agreements, option agreements and overage agreements. She prepares acquired sites ready for disposal by our plot sales team and advises on affordable housing products. She also acts for registered providers in asset purchases, stock rationalisations, landlord and tenant matters and the property aspects of securitisation projects.
Recent experience includes acting for a registered provider and their PRS commercial subsidiary in the acquisition of a rural site for development of approximately 150 units, and acting for a registered provider in a number of portfolio stock rationalisation matters to assist in funding their acquisition programme.
