The firm is a spin-off of Bedell Cristin (Mauritius) Partnership which operated in Mauritius from November 2010 to November 2016. YKJ Legal commenced operations on December 1, 2016 following a strategic reorganization. Under the leadership of Yuvraj Juwaheer, the managing partner and with the support of partners Varsha Boodhoo and Vikram Seesunkur, along with consultant Mark Helyar, an advocate based in Guernsey, the firm has established itself as a firm of repute.
