Career
Nick joined Birketts in 2006 and is a Partner in our Corporate Team. He qualified as a Solicitor in September 2006.
Nick deals with a wide range of transactions with a particular focus on corporate finance and advises on acquisitions and disposals, including international transactions. He has also acted for a number of private equity and venture capital clients on their investments and has acted for portfolio companies. Nick has experience advising on banking transactions, group reorganisations and corporate governance matters as well as commercial arrangements, such as software development, licensing and outsourcing.
Education
Nick graduated from the University of Durham with a Masters degree in Engineering and had a spell in industry working for part of the BAE Systems group before he trained as a lawyer.
