Career
Louise joined Birketts in October 2011 and is a Partner and heads up the Private Client Advisory Team across the 5 offices.
Louise specialises in the administration of estates and has extensive experience of dealing with multi-million pound estates with complex family and tax issues involving negotiations with HMRC and family members. Louise also specialises in the preparation of wills, trusts and inheritance tax planning and has more than 25 years’ experiences in this area. Louise has an increasing number of clients in the region including other professionals, landowners and business owners. She also has a number of clients in London who want the expertise and personal service they are unable to always find in London. She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
As well as being a solicitor Louise has been a qualified Notary Public for twenty years. This means that she is an internationally recognised lawyer who deals with the certification and authentication of documents for use anywhere in the world.

Louise is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Louise qualified as a Notary Public in 1998 and in this capacity is able to prepare and certify documents for use internationally.
