Career

Ezane focuses primarily on civil and commercial litigation, family law and private client work. She has represented clients in a variety of industries at all levels of the judicial process and has accumulated a number of reported cases in the Malaysian and English law journals.

In 2016, Ezane was elected as a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, a worldwide association of practising lawyers who are recognised by their peers as the most experienced and skilled family law specialists in their respective countries. Fellowship of the Academy is by-invitation only.

Ezane has also given evidence as an expert on Malaysian family law and on family law related disputes, for courts in England and the USA.

She is a contributor to the International Comparative Legal Guide to: Family Law 2020 & 2021 (Malaysian Chapter) and has in previous years been interviewed by the Malaysian press on issues pertaining to family law. In 2019, ARC was named “Matrimonial and Family Law Firm of the Year” by Asian Legal Business (Malaysia) and received a nomination for the same award in 2020.

In 2018 and 2020, Ezane was named as a “Future Star” by Benchmark Litigation Asia Pacific and a “Dispute Resolution Star” in 2019. She is also the exclusive winner of the International Client Choice Award 2015 for Litigation in Malaysia (2015).
