Career

Martin heads the corporate department across Ward Hadaway’s three offices, although he works principally out of the Newcastle office.

Martin deals with corporate matters of all types including M&A, flotations and fundraisings with a particular focus on Private Equity transactions, MBOs and private company sales.

He has a vast range of clients from start-ups to major international corporations, but a large number are owner-managed businesses. He brings more than 30 years’ experience to each transaction.

He was named Corporate Lawyer of the Year in the North East Dealmakers Awards 2016.

Martin has more than 30 years’ experience of buying, selling and floating companies.

He also has particular experience of private equity and venture capital fund-raising.
