Career

Andrei specialises in international project development and project finance transactions, corporate matters, structured finance and international joint ventures. He advises on the development and financing of oil and gas upstream, midstream and downstream projects, independent power projects, hydro power projects, nuclear power projects, mining and infrastructure projects throughout the world, with a focus on the emerging markets of the Middle East, Central Asia, the Commonwealth of Independent States and Russia.

With over 25 years’ experience working with leading international US and UK law firms in London, New York, Los Angeles and Moscow, Andrei has advised on several projects of major significance in the energy sector.

Andrei has law degrees from Stanford University, UCLA and Sverdlovsk Law Institute (Russia), as well as a joint business degree from HEC and Said Business School (Oxford University). Andrei has been named a leading lawyer in “Energy and Natural Resources,” “Infrastructure” and “Project Finance” by IFLR1000, Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, Chambers UK, The Legal 500, Who’s Who Legal: Project Finance, Best Lawyers (Russian Rankings Publication) and The Lawyer (in the UK) for many years.
