This is a seminal case on the interpretation and application of VRS and has been reported at 1 LCLR (2012) 102; Represented a leading NGO in a judicial review proceeding before the High Court Division concerning the scope and ambit of taxability on the interest accrued in a fixed deposit account under the relevant provisions of Bangladesh Post Office Savings Bank Rules. This is the only reported judgment on this area of law and is reported at 31 BLD (HCD) 470.
