Simon deals with all aspects of restructuring and insolvency having always specialised in this area. When acting for banks and corporates, he advises in relation to security issues and enhancements, restructuring and reorganisations and insolvency planning. Directors rely on Simon’s advice when faced with the complicated and high pressure issues which arise when they guide their companies through financial difficulties.

He also advises insolvency practitioners and corporates in relation to the sales and purchase of distressed businesses. Simon has wide experience of advising on all aspects of receiverships, CVAs and administrations. Simon is praised by clients in Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession as being “technically very good” and “able to cut through to the nub of the issue very quickly to get to key legal or commercial points.”

Simon leads our LPA receivership team which acts for lenders and receivers recovering property lending.
