Career
Ashutosh is a co-founder and Managing Partner of the Noida office. He heads the Firm’s Tax practice.
Ashutosh have 17 years of experience in Tax and Transfer Pricing litigation. He has an impeccable track record of wins including landmark wins before the Delhi High Court.
He regularly serves as counsel on Tax/ Transfer Pricing matters at higher appellate forums including Tax Tribunal and High Court. He has advised and represented in Landmark Tax Rulings such as Cinestaan Entertainment
(Angel Taxation – ‘Role of Hindsight in Valuation’) and Pyramid IT Consulting (Transfer Pricing – ‘Comparable Selection and Substantial Question of Law’) – laying down principles of law that have become cornerstones of modern
taxation.
His forte have been International Tax Structuring and Transfer Pricing Planning for related party cross-border transactions particularly for the Information Technology sector. He has successfully represented several multinational companies before tax authorities in Transfer Pricing/ International Tax audits and advised companies on several complex Transfer Pricing matters. His International Taxation experience encompasses all aspects of Transfer Pricing advisory, GAAR, POEM and BEPS related compliance and litigation services.
Leveraging on his understanding of related party valuation and Transfer Pricing principles, Ashutosh also oversees valuation and representation before Special Valuation Board (‘SVB’) under customs regulations.
