Career
Robert Hasan’s corporate and commercial practice areas cover telecommunications, media and information technology, M&A as well as banking and finance. He is known to have deep technology and transactional sector experiences and assisted multinational corporations and state-owned government companies with acquisitions, merger, joint ventures and foreign investment.
Hasan’s works as a corporate lawyer have received global recognition, including from Legal 500, Chambers Global, Chambers Asia-Pacific, IFLR1000, Asian Legal Business, Asia Business Law Journal and Asia Law. One of Indonesia’s largest legal media, Hukum Online, wrote, “Robert Hasan proves that young person can excel as a legal practitioner”. He is chosen as one of Indonesia’s Top 50 up and coming Future Legal Leaders by Asia Business Law Journal. Recently, he is named as Asia 40 under 40 and Indonesia’s young lawyer of the year finalist by Asia Legal Business (Thomson Reuters).
He is an active member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia) and a certified data protection officer of the Indonesia Data Privacy Professional Association (Asosiasi Profesional Privasi Data Indonesia or APPDI). He received his law degree from the Faculty of Law, Pelita Harapan University.
