Mr. Sun has focused his practice on intellectual property litigation, especially patent litigation in which he has extensive experience from handling over 200 cases. He has won most of his cases, and a majority of them were important and influential enough to have been selected as model cases by various courts and China’s Patent Administration.

With his background in law, engineering qualifications and extensive litigation experience, he is able to deliver the highest standards of service to clients. Chambers has recommended Mr. Sun as a leading lawyer in the IP field consistently since 2010, quoting clients as saying that he “is very dedicated and capable, and always goes through all the details.” 

He has also been responsible for many non-contentious IP cases, providing expert opinions, bespoke feasibility reports, pre-litigation projects or other services.
