Monique is a partner in our Intellectual Property practice and head of our Swedish Media, Entertainment and Sports Sector, based in Stockholm.

She gained particular recognition when she represented the US movie industry against the notorious Swedish file-sharing website The Pirate Bay.

Monique has also advised on several cases before the Swedish Supreme Court and the European Court of Justice regarding various intellectual property matters. She has been recognised in The Legal 500 Hall of Fame for her work around intellectual property and media issues.

She has more than 30 years’ experience of advising both Swedish and international clients in relation not only to intellectual property and general business law, but also to marketing as well as litigation and arbitration.

Monique is a member of the Research Panel on Media Law at the Stockholm Centre for Commercial Law, a domain name arbitrator for the Swedish Internet Infrastructure Foundation’s dispute settlement programme. She is also a columnist for Sweden’s largest advertising newspaper Resumé.


Monique holds an LL.M. from Stockholm University.
