Paweł is a Partner in our Intellectual Property Practice, based in Warsaw.

Career

Paweł is recognised as a leading Intellectual Property lawyer who has vast knowledge and expertise in the field.

For the last 13 years, he has specialised in advising on contentious soft IP matters and legal issues relating to new technologies, as well as handling matters relating to the law of the internet, data protection, consumer law, advertising and contract law.

Pawel supports his clients on litigation, proceedings before the data protection and consumer regulators, Polish Patent Office and the EU Intellectual Property Office, negotiations, due diligence projects,  complex eCommerce and data protection projects and development of IP management strategies. He advises on matters of online legal infringements, including high-profile cases of legal violations by users of hosting services. He also regularly represents companies in criminal and civil proceedings regarding infringement of IP rights.

Pawel has also advised dozens of internet start-ups on legal compliance within their business models.

The co-creator of IP blog IP w sieci, Pawel regularly speaks at conferences on issues surrounding IP and new technologies.
