Nick specialises in insurance litigation and workplace injury claims, acting for WorkSafe Victoria and its insurance agents.‍

He is renowned for his ability to deliver excellent outcomes for his clients.  His key strengths include high-level legal analysis, efficient work practices and ability to distil complex issues into succinct and practical advice.‍

He has a broad practice in insurance litigation with considerable experience advising clients in relation to statutory benefits and common law claims in negligence. He has particular expertise acting for clients in litigation arising from workplace fatalities, judicial review proceedings and industrial exposure claims.‍

Nick has acted for clients in all levels of the Victorian Courts including the Court of Appeal, as well as the High Court of Australia.  He also has considerable experience conducting high volume and often challenging litigation in Victorian circuit courts
