Loretta has been a partner of the firm since 1998. She was elected Chairman of the Board of Partners in 2007.
Loretta works full time in managers and acquisitions and is highly regarded for her ability to achieve commercial results in a timely fashion, and manage and work with a project team.
Loretta has completed the FINSIA Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, and the Advanced Insolvency Law and Practice I & II at The University of Queensland. She also has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide. Loretta is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow Member of the Governance Institute and a Senior Fellow of FINSIA.

Thomson Geer advises on major administrations for corporate clients, and also maintains productive relationships with many of the Big Four alongside financial services clients and international banks. Notable areas of expertise include the aviation and transport industries, alongside handling cross-border insolvencies for financial services institutions and investment funds. Melbourne-based senior partner Loretta Reynolds is a key contact, while the team was bolstered by the arrivals of Emma Hodgman and Scott Guthrie in early 2021 and late 2020 respectively, both joining from Dentons. Guthrie leads the team.
