Warathorn represents clients in domestic and international litigation and arbitration. His expertise includes administrative law, banking, bankruptcy and business reorganization, construction, energy, oil and gas, hotels and real estate, insurance, product liability and telecommunications.
Warathorn represents clients in the resolution and enforcement of disputes at the Thai Arbitration Institute (TAI), the Hong Kong International Arbitration Center (HKIAC) and the Singapore International Arbitration Center (SIAC).
Warathorn is afacilitator of the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD) Director Certification Program and Director Accreditation Program. He is also a guest lecturer at several national law schools. He is the author of the Thailand chapters of The International Arbitration Review (The Law Reviews 2015-2018) and the Dispute Resolution Law Guide (LexisNexis 2018). He has been a board member of the Faculty of Law Chulalongkorn University Alumni Association since 2015.

Weerawong, Chinnavat & Partners has experience in many of the primary centres of international arbitration in the Asia Pacific region, including Singapore and Hong Kong. Moreover, the firm’s expertise has also seen it involved in proceedings outside the region. Key contacts in the team include Phisit Dejchaiyasak, who heads the arbitration team, and Warathorn Wongsawangsiri, who has handled a variety of disputes at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre and Singapore International Centre. In addition to its arbitration work, the firm also handles the enforcement of arbitral awards.

Phisit Dejchaiyasak heads up the dispute resolution team and has a reputation for representing insurance companies and major Thai corporations in domestic and international disputes. Sakchai Limsiripothong has handled commercial and IP disputes in a range of sectors including construction and banking, and Rapinnart Prongsiriwattana successfully represented Total Access Communication in the administrative court proceedings concerning telecoms concessions. Also recommended are Pathorn Towongchuen and Pralakorn Siwawej, who is rated for his ‘in-depth analysis’.
