Veeranuch leads the Capital Markets and Corporate Governance Practices. She has considerable experience in capital markets and mergers and acquisitions, particularly innovative transaction structures and telecommunications in both domestic and cross-border transactions. Prior to joining the Firm, she was General Counsel at a major telecommunications and internet services company in Thailand.

Weerawong, Chinnavat & Partners represents issuers, underwriters, placement agents, investors and corporate trustees in debt and equity deals. In addition, the practice group has experience of derivatives, linked offerings and other complex financial products, and also handles listed funds work. Senior partner Veeranuch Thammavaranucupt heads the team, and recently acted for True Properties in the establishment of the Bualuang Office Leasehold REIT. On the more junior end, senior associate Trinuch Chuenchomlada has experience advising issuers and underwriters on international and domestic equity deals.

Weerawong, Chinnavat & Partners is highly capable of advising major Thai corporates on corporate governance, commercial matters and M&A. The firm’s client base includes lenders and financial advisers as well as target companies and acquirers. The team is jointly led by Weerawong Chittmittrapap, who has expertise in infrastructure projects and M&A, and Veeranuch Thammavaranucupt, who acted for Plan B Media in the $144m sale of 18.6% of its shares VGI Global Media. Another key figure is Panuwat Chalongkuamdee, who is experienced in a range of corporate matters and foreign direct investment, and recently advised PTT Exploration and Production on the agreement for the assignment and transfer of a 22.22% stake in the Bongkot Project from Shell. Sunyaluck  Chaikajornwat is also recommended.

Weerawong, Chinnavat & Partners has recently acted for major Thai banks in disputes concerning the design and development of software, while on the non-contentious side, the team advises on the regulatory aspects of fintech and e-commerce products, and also has complementary expertise in IP. Key contacts in the practice group include Veeranuch Thammavaranucupt and Samata Masagee, both of whom acted for Grab in its acquisition of Uber’s assets and operations in Southeast Asia.

Weerawong, Chinnavat & Partners acts for developers, property owners, investors and property funds, in relation to dispute resolution, real estate developments and construction permits and regulatory matters. Senior partner and team head Veeranuch Thammavaranucupt acted for TICON industrial Connection in its investment with JustCo, a co-working office space company, for the acquisition of all shares in two branches of JustCo located in Bangkok. Panuwat Chalongkuamdee is also notable, working on real estate asset acquisition in mixed-use projects.
