Career

David heads up the Leasehold Reform/Enfranchisement team comprised of four solicitors and additional support. His primary focus is on lease extension and collective enfranchisement work for a wide range of landlord clients but also acts for tenants, including large groups of tenants. He has extensive experience in disposals and acquisitions of ground rents (and mixed use properties) for and to ground rent investors. His background is in transactional commercial property and he brings the knowledge and practicality of that work to the leasehold reform disputes.

Previous positive feedback to directories from an experienced ground rent investor has included the observation that David is “a very intelligent and street wise lawyer, reads people and transactions well. One of the few lawyers I have come across whose advice makes his clients money.”
