Our firm commenced practice as Messrs Azim, Ong & Krishnan on 1st January, 1985. The founding partners were Encik Zainal Azim, Mr Ong Boo Kok and Mr Vijayaram Krishnan. Mr Ong Boo Kok, Mr Vijayaram Krishnan and Encik Zainal Azim have since retired as partners of the firm. On 1st July, 1990 Tunku Farik Ismail was made a partner. Mr Wong Hok Mun was made a partner on 1st January, 1992. Mr Edmund Liew was made a partner on 1st January 1996. Mr B Balakumar was made a partner on 1st January, 1998. In June 1999, our firm changed its name to Messrs Azim, Tunku Farik & Wong. Mr T Tharumarajah was made partner on 1st January, 2001 whilst Mr Anantharajah Shanmugam was made a partner on 1st January, 2006. Mr Wong Wai Leong was admitted as a partner on 1st January, 2011 and Ms Chithra Jeganathan and Ms Tan Sixin were both admitted as partners on 1st January 2013. Ms Elaine Koh was made a partner of the firm on 1st January, 2016. Ms Yeo Lee Peng, Mr Teh Kiang Boon and Mr Amos Siew Yih Jhien were admitted as partners on 1st January, 2021.

Although much time and expense has been incurred, these efforts have not gone to waste as our firm has been able to build a specialist team of litigators and back up staff to handle insurance claims. Our firm has also invested in a comprehensive law library with online access to Malaysian and International cases and legislative updates in order to assist lawyers to keep abreast with current laws and trends.
