Ms. Nirusha Ratnatunga specialises in corporate and capital markets law and has an extensive knowledge of the legal landscape relating to the same. As such, she has assisted in guiding the Firm to consolidate its position of dominance as one of the most influential Law Firms in the Sri Lankan corporate sector. Her experience extends from advising clients on a diverse range of financial transactions such as Debenture issuances, Initial Public Offerings, Rights Issues and Private Placements to overseeing some of the largest Mergers and Acquisitions in Sri Lanka. She is also extensively involved in advising clients on foreign direct investment and exchange control laws.

 

Ms. Ratnatunga has been with the Firm since 2009, sourcing a strong portfolio of local and international clientele, thereby transforming the Firm to embrace its identity as a leading Law Firm in Sri Lanka.

 

Ms. Ratnatunga was admitted as an Attorney-at- Law by the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka in 2009. She has an LL.B from the University of London and an LL.M from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
