Aparajit’s focus areas of practice are Corporate Commercial, Mergers & Acquisition and Private Equity. He is also a member of the Infrastructure team with a specific focus on environmental (EHS) matters. In his legal experience of close to two decades, he has led diverse assignments and transactions in corporate commercial and has advised clients on many cross-border transactions that relate to foreign investment in India, their entry strategies, M&A, equity investments, joint ventures, management buyouts and corporate restructuring. He has worked across varied segments of commerce and industry in services, trading and manufacturing sectors. The spectrum of industries, ranges from manufacturing (across diverse sectors), consumer products and durables, retail, financial services, infrastructure, power / energy, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, F&B and health-care, IT, technology and software, ecommerce etc. Aparajit previously worked at HSA Advocates, Trilegal and Hindustan Unilever Limited.
Aparajit is a pioneer in the area of Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). He extended his legal counsel to one of the first CDM projects in India and has advised some of the largest CDM transitions in the world.
