Position

Markus Asshoff, Partner, advises a wide range of national and international companies in all sectors, but also high-level executives, on all aspects of individual and collective labor and social security law as well as in compliance matters.

His expertise is particularly focused on international employment contracts, managing director’s status, negotiation of termination packages, international mobility, complex restructuring operations, including social plans, transfer of business as well as legal, strategic and HR advice. Moreover, Markus assists his clients before French Courts.

Markus, who speaks French, English and German, is a member of the Taylor Wessing International Compliance Practice Group and specializes in all notably labor law related issues (employee trainings, alert procedures, audits, assistance and preparation of anti-corruption controls, etc.).

Career

After having started his studies at the University of Cologne, Markus completed a master degree in employment law as well as in social security law at the Paris X-Nanterre University. Markus began his career as lawyer in 2002. He worked within the Employment Law Department and the German Desk of one of the “Big 4”, before joining Taylor Wessing France in November 2003, at the time of its setting up.
