In 2013 Ján became an arbitrator of the Arbitral Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Technologies (ACIPiT). He is one of the experts authorised to decide Slovakian Code top level domain disputes in the mandatory alternative dispute resolution regime commencing in January 2017.
