Position
Jakub Pitera is a partner in the corporate/M&A & capital markets team and focuses on working with financial institutions. He has advised on many transactions concerning corporate restructuring of the largest Polish and international holdings. Jakub has expertise in M&A transactions, IPOs, trade in financial instruments and investment funds. A key area of his work is representing clients in the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and Polish Competition Authority, which often involve regulatory matters and mergers and acquisitions proceedings
Career
Jakub holds a PhD in law. For several years, Jakub was a lecturer at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Warsaw University, as well as supporting teaching methods in the Department of Law at the Leon Koźmiński Academy in Warsaw. Before joining Taylor Wessing as a partner in 2019, he worked as counsel and senior associate at K&L Gates Jamka sp.k.
