Prakash has over 36 years of extensive experience in project finance, banking & finance, real estate, infrastructure and energy, corporate & commercial laws, litigation and dispute resolution.

Prakash has advised various banks, financial institutions and corporates in various project finance and banking and finance transactions including all types of debt transactions (secured, limited recourse and syndicated), debentures, real estate construction finance, lease rental discounting transactions, debt restructuring, security creation and general banking products as the lenders’ legal counsel.

Prakash has also advised various landowners, builders and developers, banks, financial institutions, trusts etc. on real estate transactions such as development agreements, redevelopment, joint development, title due diligence, sale and lease transactions etc. He has also advised various corporates and investors on private equity investments, joint ventures and intellectual property rights.

Prakash started his career with SICOM Limited in 1984 where he was exposed to project finance matters. After his 11 years stint with SICOM Limited, Prakash started his independent practice in 1995, practicing in the areas of project finance (with special focus on road projects and power projects), banking and finance, infrastructure and energy, real estate, corporate & commercial laws, litigation and dispute resolution. In 2012, he started P&P Legal with other partners with a view to expand the practice. Prakash merged his practice with the Firm in 2016.
