Career
Ms. Chen is a member of the firm’s Managing Committee and a registered patent attorney. She has taken the role of Executive Director, since May 2021, overseeing the operation of the patent department.
Her practice covers domestic and international intellectual property matters, specializing in the semiconductor, display, chemical and material science fields. Ms. Chen advises on patentability, non-infringement, invalidity opinion letters, and patent searches, along with handling a multitude of Taiwanese and international intellectual property prosecution matters.
She has lectured on topics related to patent matters such as application drafting practice, prosecution tactics and patent claim construction in both Chinese and English. She is a member of the APAA, the AIPPI, and the TWPAA. She also currently serves on the editorial committee of TWPAA Quarterly Journal as the chairperson.
Prior to joining TOPTEAM, she was a researcher at China Chemical & Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (CCPC).
