Partner in the Personal Injury department.

Ben specialises in brain and spinal cord injury claims. He advises on high-value personal injury claims, particularly brain and spinal cord injuries, including claims with an international element. He has experience of equestrian cases, as well as burn and amputation injuries.

Ben has acted in many brain and spinal cord injury claims, including accidents abroad. He has supervised fee earners conducting many more. His highlights include achieving multimillion pound settlements resulting from a range of types of accidents, including road traffic accidents and accidents at work.

Career

Ben previously worked for Armstrong Foulkes in Middlesbrough before joining Stewarts in 2004. He was made an associate in 2005 and a partner in 2006.

Ben was named ‘Partner of the Year’ at the Yorkshire Legal Awards 2021, at which it was said he “creates a progressive atmosphere for others to thrive in”.

Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. He is a founding assessor for their brain and spinal cord injury panels.
