Kumar heads the Banking & Insolvency team. With over 30 years of practice, he is also among the pioneers of banking disputes in the country, dealing with breach of contracts, debt recovery and banker’s liability as well as corporate and commercial disputes.

Kumar was a partner at Messrs Allen & Gledhill for 14 years prior to its merger with Messrs Lee Hishammuddin in 2005, and a director of Interlaw — an international association of over 64 premier independent law firms worldwide — for six years.
