Bella was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2010. She started her practice with the dispute resolution department of the firm focusing on banking litigation and high value recovery work before her transition to the firm’s mergers & acquisitions (M&A) practice.

She has worked on a variety of M&A matters, with a focus on real estate transactions. She advises on direct and indirect acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, restructurings, and development projects. Her clients include real estate developers and listed corporations.

She also regularly acts for clients ranging from financial institutions to investment funds on cross border and mezzanine financing. Bella also advises on general corporate and commercial law.

Bella was recently acknowledged as “Next Generation Partner” in the field of Real Estate and Construction in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2023 rankings. In the Chambers Asia-Pacific 2023 rankings, Bella was also ranked as “Up and Coming” the Real Estate practice. She was also ranked as “Highly Regard” for M&A practice area in the IFLR1000 2023/2024 Ranking.
