Stevens & Bolton LLP's practice head Beverley Whittaker, who has more than 25 years of commercial contracts experience, assists clients with procurement, marketing agreements and supply of services, among other matters. Beverley Flynn is another seasoned commercial lawyer, who also leads the firm's data protection work. Nicola Broadhurst heads up the firm's franchising practice, while Gary Parnell is the technology and media head. Another key figure is Gustaf Duhs, who is knowledgeable about the interplay between commercial contracts and regulatory issues in sectors such as fintech, life sciences and telecommunications. Managing associate Charles Maurice and senior associate Oliver Kidd are also recommended. Tom Lingard heads the IP team and is also heavily involved in this sector. Michael Frisby is an expert in life sciences-related disputes, both litigation and arbitration. Commercial lawyer Beverley Flynn advised SecurMed UK on its arrangement with Arvato Systems to establish a medicines verification system for the prescription and supply of medicines in the UK. Construction specialist Stephen Rockhill assisted Institute for Cancer Research with the documentation behind the construction of a new laboratory. Also recommended is competition expert Gustaf Duhs, who worked with the British Generic Manufacturers Association on its application to intervene in the case where the Competition Market Authority fined Pfizer and Flynn for hiking prices of drugs supplied to the NHS.
